The ClearWater project began work last week in the Secoya community of San Pablo along the shores of the AguaRico river. The work began with community led capacity trainings of technicians from the Cofan, Siona and Secoya tribes. Here is a quick video dispatch with Elias Piaguaje, a Secoya elder, in front of a recently installed rainwater harvesting system at his home.
The ClearWater team will be sharing more video, photo and written stories about the work in Secoya territory over the coming weeks! Stay tuned, spread the word, support the project!
